# Your Personal Path to Healing

Residential Treatment for Substance Use & Mental Wellness

The path to sustainable healing begins with the development of trust between one person and another. A relationship defined by compassion, mutual respect, and a feeling of emotional and physical safety. That belief is where everything at Willow Tree begins.

## **Who We Work With**

We work with adults struggling with alcohol, opioids, prescription medications, stimulants, or other substances, and with the emotional pain that so often sits underneath that struggle. Many who come to us have tried treatment before and found it left something unfinished. Others are here for the first time, having finally recognized that they cannot do this alone.

Willow Tree is a great fit for people who are willing to meet us on a journey toward mental wellness. People who need distance from the pressures and patterns of daily life. People who want to be known by the ones caring for them, not processed by a system. We keep our community intentional so that every person who arrives finds a stable, steady place to land.

## The Importance of Residential Treatment

Substance use rarely stays contained to one part of a person's life. It weaves into relationships, routines, and the quiet ways someone learns to cope with pain they were never given room to feel. For a lot of folks, real change asks for a full step away from the environment that their pain took root in.

Residential care gives that space. It offers time to stabilize, to breathe, and to be supported in the way you deserve.

## How Care Is Approached

We are handcrafting a treatment experience for the human being in front of us. Every clinician sits down together to talk through who that person is, so their care reflects their story specifically.

Primary therapists at Willow Tree carry no more than two or three clients at any time. That closeness is how we make sure every client feels seen and known, and how we can move at the pace someone's healing requires rather than a pace a schedule demands.

## Mental Health + Substance Use

Substance use is nearly always connected to psychological pain, unresolved trauma, or a mental health struggle that has never been addressed. We treat substance use and mental health together because they are deeply intertwined. Treating one without addressing the other misses part of what you’re experiencing.

We hold deep respect for what it takes to reach out for help. Trauma and emotional pain can quietly erode a person's sense of worth, often leading to substance use as a way to escape feelings of helplessness and shame. Our team is here to walk through that with you, gently and without judgment, for as long as it takes to feel steady again.

## Length of Stay + Readiness

There is no fixed number of days that applies to every client. Some people need more time to feel grounded. Others are ready to move forward sooner, with the right support in place. That decision is made together, revisited regularly, and shaped entirely by a person's own progress.

## Life Beyond Treatment

Planning for what comes next is integral to long-term success, and we begin that work early. We stay closely connected with families, referring professionals, and outside providers so that the transition out of Willow Tree feels like a smooth continuation of care, never an ending. And we’re always here to help should you need us in the future.

## Exploring Next Steps

If you are trying to understand whether Willow Tree is the right place, for yourself or someone you love, we welcome that conversation. Every question is a fair one, and every call is answered by Laura or Jake directly. Whether or not this ends up being the right fit, we will walk through it with you with care and respect.
